North 40 Tree Relocation Program

The approval of the Phase I applications for the North 40 required that the trees proposed to be removed shall be offered to community members for transplant and/or use of the tree or materials at the community members’ cost.

Town Launching School Bus Pilot in January 2019

With a great level of enthusiasm, the Town Council gave a green light to the school bus pilot service at the meeting on June 5. The Council also committed over $80,000 of the General Funds in Fiscal Year 2018-19 to support this pilot.

Police Investigate Bank Robbery

On April 9, 2018, at approximately 11:28 a.m. Los Gatos-Monte Sereno Police Officers responded to a bank robbery that occurred at U.S. Bank, located at 127 N. Santa Cruz Ave.

Two suspects entered the bank, approached bank employees while brandishing handguns, and demanded cash. During the commission of the robbery, a customer sustained minor injuries due to physical force caused by one of the suspects. One of the suspects was ...

Proper disposal of prescription medications - Santa Clara MED-Project Program

The Police Department is participating in the County of Santa Clara MED-Project, designed to encourage proper disposal of prescription medications. There will be one disposal bin located in the Police Operations Building lobby (15900 Los Gatos Blvd).
